The Executive Director of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) says Climate Change is a national and global issue and not a government issue. According to Madam Anyaa Vohiri, Climate Change must be part of the planning process for development here.
The EPA boss made these comments over the weekend at a one-day climate change negotiators and policymakers dialogue agenda held at the St. Teresa Convent High School in Monrovia. The dialogue was a National Preparatory Workshop for Liberia's Delegation to the United Nations Climate Change Conference scheduled to take place in Doha, Qatar.
The Workshop was meant to prepare the country's delegation on negotiation skills to this year's Climate change Conference that will lead to the formulation of the country's position on issues pending deliberations at the Conference.
